My Story

I didn’t come to writing with a plan to publish books. I came to it because I lived too many years without answers — and I know what it means to be unheard.

For a long time, my body was changing in ways that were easy for others to dismiss and hard to explain. Like many patients, I learned to keep going while quietly carrying questions no one seemed ready to hear or answer. When a brain tumor and rare disease diagnosis finally arrived, it brought clarity and grief in equal measure. It also changed how I understood time, truth, and listening.

I began writing to make sense of my own experience. What I didn’t expect was how many others would trust me with theirs.

Patients, caregivers, and families from around the world began sharing stories shaped by delay, resilience, and quiet endurance. Those voices now form the foundation of my work. I write not to simplify complex lives, but to hold them with care — blending lived experience, research, and collective truth.

Through my books, I explore what happens when people are finally seen and believed. I write for readers who value depth over speed, honesty over spectacle, and stories that linger long after the last page.

If you’re here, I hope you find something that feels steady, human, and true.
